Mega Fishing is a shooting game with an undersea setting. The player is tasked with killing as many fish as possible in the underwater jungle of coral reefs and its many biomes.

The fish are drawn in a cartoonish style that evokes the world of a movie like Finding Nemo, while the gameplay has the player in charge of a mystic predator –a fire-breathing crocodile, octopus, or turtle.

Players will be enticed by the variety of sea life, but may be left wanting a more coherent world.

Graphics, Sounds, and Animations

Mega Fishing has a fun, cartoonish aesthetic that is different in each of its three "rooms." The fish have an exaggerated, Pixar-like look with plenty of color and character.

The music is a Caribbean-style track of calypso music that fits the brightly colored action. However, the sound effects feel a little out of place, as artificial chimes and the jangling of coins accompanying each win.

Overall, the front end of this slot is pretty and should please anyone who feels that it is better, down where it's wetter, under the sea.

Gameplay

Mega Fishing is a shooting game where instead of paying per spin, the player pays for each "bullet" in their gun.

A wide range of targets swim past and the player must shoot them. Killing a sea creature wins you a cash reward, and in some cases, it will trigger one of the base game features. This can be either a whirlpool that sucks in random sea creatures, or a drill that bounces around the play space skewering creatures as it goes.

The trick is not to waste bullets on creatures you can’t kill before they slide off-screen and to avoid the interference of other creatures blocking your shot.

It's a fun variation on more traditional forms of online slot gaming.
