An island paradise, a beautiful blonde in a bikini, a couple of cocktails - what more could you possibly want? Well, how about some sizzling hot fun?

TaDa Gaming’s Bikini Lady is set on a backdrop of a sunny beach scene, complete with a surfboard and waves lapping against the shore. And don’t worry, the Bikini Lady appears at the side of the screen, although she takes on a pretty passive role: smiling, looking pretty, and occasionally throwing out a bonus symbol. The soundtrack is vibey, featuring drums, strings, and even a few shakes of a maraca.

Gameplay

Bikini Lady doesn’t have paylines. Symbols pay anywhere on the grid, as long as there are at least eight of them. The Bikini Lady herself is the best-paying symbol, followed by the boat, floatie, hat, and beach ball.

Once each spin has finished, all Scatters and winning symbols remain on the grid, while all other symbols disappear to make room for new ones. This is different from the Cascade mechanism in most other slots, where winning symbols usually disappear.

Wilds, Bonuses and Free Spins

There are three bonus symbols, which can appear on the extra top reel in both the base game and free spins. Each bonus symbol has a different effect, for example, one increases the number of winning symbols on the grid, another increases the value of winning symbols, and the third one awards a random Multiplier of 2x to 20x.

The speedboat Scatter symbol appears on reels 1 - 6 of the main game grid. If you land three or more Scatters, you’ll get into the Free Spins round, with an initial eight spins. During the Free Spins, the Bonus symbols are locked onto the top reel, and you’ll trigger the features whenever you win. Look out for the "Spin +1" symbols, which award an extra free round.

Bet Sizes, RTP and Variance

You can spin for stake amounts of your choice, ranging between $/€/£0.20 and $/€/£200 a go, which is suitable for the full range of players. The maximum payout is 10,000x your stake or $/€/£2,000,000, whichever is lower.

We were very impressed to see that the Return to Player (RTP) of the game comes in at 97%, which is well above the industry average and indeed above what we’ve seen in most newer slots. The volatility is rated as medium, so wins might not be huge, but at least they'll be fairly frequent.

Conclusion

The graphics aren’t the best we’ve ever seen, and the theme is standard at best, but there are a few things that save this slot from being a bit of a flop. The Free Spins round is without a doubt the best part of the Bikini Lady game, as there’s potential for some decent wins when the Bonus symbols kick in. The high RTP also means that you have a slightly better chance of winning over a long period of time.
