The setting for this slot is very similar to the other Big Bass games. It takes place underwater, although the water here is a little murkier than we’re used to.

There are no real surprises (or should that be reel surprises?) here, as the gameplay is quite straightforward. Symbols like the lure, dragonfly, fishing rod, and tacklebox pay the most, while A, K, Q, J, and 10 symbols pay out smaller amounts.

The game is played on a simple grid of five reels and three rows, with 10 fixed paylines that are active every time you spin. You need at least three of the same symbol on adjacent reels from left to right on one of the paylines to trigger a win.

Wilds, Bonuses and Free Spins

The fisherman appears on the grid during the Free Spins round in the form of the Wild symbol. He can substitute for other symbols on the grid (except the Scatter), to help you complete winning combinations. During Free Spins, you might also see the fish money symbols, which take on values of 2x and 1,000x your total bet amount. The Fisherman symbol collects the cash values for you.

But how do you get into the Free Spins round in the first place? You’ll need to land at least three of the Scatter symbols to bag yourself 10 Free Spins. Four Scatters get you 15 spins, and five get you 20.
